Find Your Best Golf Swing

By Mike Pedersen
Golf Swing Trainer

Are you on a quest for your best golf swing? If so, you've got a lot of company. In fact, most golfers aren't satisfied with their present swing. The thing most golfers lack is not the desire to improve, but rather the proper approach to achieving their goal.

It is no secret that finding your best golf swing is one of the hottest topics in the golf community. If you doubt it, just take a look at the news rack. It is virtually impossible to find a golf magazine without an article or a blurb on it. And yes, most golfers read the articles and head out to the driving range to try the newest technique.

Is this a good approach? Yes. Is it the best approach? No! The reason is twofold. First, no two golfers are the same from a biomechanical standpoint.

Just because it worked for the golf star posing in the magazine, just mimicking the photo will not ensure finding your best golf swing. Which leads us to the second reason: there is no substitute for a lesson from a professional coach.

A professional coach will be able to visually analyze your present swing, look at your biomechanics and come up with a tailored plan to help you find your best golf swing.

He may find that your hamstrings or your deltoids are just too tight. In this case, he might suggest a daily stretching routine or learning some yoga poses. He might find that you lack the physical strength to maintain proper technique consistently for a full eighteen holes and suggest some weight training.

Once you get on track from a biomechanical standpoint, it's time to focus on your technique. Once again, it is a good idea to consult the pro. He can get you on the right track. And then practice, practice, practice. Your goal is to be able to maintain your form and rhythm for all eighteen holes.

Soon you will find yourself closing in on your best golf swing. You will know it when you are getting close, but there will always be room for improvement. But isn't the challenge one of the reasons you love the game? Get out there and enjoy it!
