Golf Swing Tip – Rotate Those Hips
As I mentioned in an earlier post; the golf swing is almost pure rotation. Golfers are always looking for the magical golf swing tip that will change their game forever. Somethimes you can read or hear a golf tip that really clicks. It’s happened to all of us…but the question is…did it stick? Were you able to repeat indefinitely?
One golf swing tip I think should be in your brain at all times is…rotate your hips aggressively in the downswing!
On that note, make sure to have it in sequence with your upper body, so your position at impact is correct. Just rotating the hips without sequence will cause dramatic swing faults and mishits.
Think of timing your downswing with the rotating of the hips and the dropping of your arms into the “slot”. Do this at the same time and you’re golden.
Having the hips slightly open at impact allows you to RIP the rest of your swing as hard as you want with no resistance or interference with the lower body. It will feel like total freedom through impact.
