I Suck At Putting: Translation – I’m A Bad Putter

I have never said I was a good putter…and yesterday was nothing new. I drove it so well, and hit quite a few greens in regualtion, and still proceeded to take 36 putts for the round, which I would consider is bad putting.

I lost count, but I think I had something like 6 three putts. That’s terrible!

Do you want to know the best of it? I still shot a 79 on a fairly tough course here in Scottsdale. Nothing to write home about, but I’ll take a day in the 70′s any day of the week.

How about you? I’m sure you’re a better putter than I am right? You’ve got to be.

I have tried putting drills. I even have a very expensive Scotty Cameron putter…so I can’t blame my equipment. LOL.

Oh well…I’ll keep hacking it up and trying my best.
