Golfing With My Son Tomorrow
My dream has always been to have my son as my golfing partner for life. It started out as planned; he was hitting plastic balls out of our front yard at the age of 2. I was in heaven.
Needless to say, along the way he has gotten side-tracked like most young boys. He’s a straight A student in school and also plays organized baseball.
Out here in Arizona, the kids finish school in late May. Yes…my kids are already out of school and fighting with each other. Lot’s of fun right?
Well the magic moment!
Yesterday out of the blue my son said, “dad, do you wanta go hit some balls”? I couldn’t believe it! I jumped at the opportunity and it was a blast! He can actually hit the ball pretty hard from all the baseball he’s played.
Then another shocker. He asked if I wanted to play a round with him? Wow! “Absolutely” I said. Well…tomorrow is the day we go out. Gotta go out in the morning as it will hit 110 degrees tomorrow.
