Mickelson Choked At The US Open

Was it painful to watch Phil Mickelson on the last 3 holes of the US Open yesterday. He literally handed Geoff Ogilvy the trophy.

“I am such an idiot”, Phil Mickelson. I agree. All he had to do was bunt an iron down the 18th fairway and the US Open is his. As a golf fitness trainer, was it his fitness that failed him in the end? He is looking heavier than ever, and supposedly he has a trainer who travels with him.

What the heck are they doing?

Hats off to Geoff Ogivly though. He played steady and did what he had to do to get the trophy and that nice $1.225 million dollar check.

I know easier said than done. We can all be armchair quarterbacks.
