Top Of The Golf Backswing

So much is made of your golf backswing. So much so, I created a backswing report to help you make your biggest backswing possible. Now I am a huge advocate of working on your body to make a bigger backswing, but getting to the top of your backswing is also critical.

If you can’t get to the top in the correct position within a stable base, you will have no chance making a good downswing that is on the correct path from the inside, nor will you get to impact in a position to maximize your power.

Let’s take a look at Tigers top of the backswing position.

Now I know what you’re thinking. You’ll never be Tiger, but why can’t you look at the very critical positions he’s in at the top and try to achieve them for yourself?There are several things to look at, but I won’t cover all of them here, as I’ll be putting together a special report covering this ideal position and how to train your body to achieve it easily.

How about his knee flex? It’s stays exactly the same from when it was at address. His hips have only rotated 30 degrees, where the average golfer rotates way in excess of 45 degrees, losing valuable core torque and stored energy for higher clubhead speed and better distance.
