Stretching to better golf.
Mike, I have had you Golf Stretching DVD for 1 month now. My flexibility is much, much better. I have noticed less stiffness in my back and knees. The other day I hit a drive that when I checked the distance with my range finder was 293 yards. It is alot easier to make a full turn. The only problem I have to correct is one of not making the full turn and be quick which cause the over the top swing. I am very pleased with the results so far and will continue to work toward my goal to better golf with stretching and exercise.
I'm 75 and my driver average is 275...
I've been doing your golf stretching program for at least 4 years, I'm 75+ only 5.5 and I play to a 7, my driver average is 275 just last Monday I hit 290. Keep up the good work.Sal.C.G. AZ.
Stretching is good.
My wife and I have been going to a yoga class for several months. I just received your stretching video two days ago and used it this morning. It was tough but I made it through and look forward to using it 2 to 3 times a week. What I like about it is that it has golf specfic stetches, which the yoga class doesn'. At 55 years old I am in good shape but I can tell my muscles and joint are tighter than they use to be. This DVD will help greatly.
Iam 72 plus and just started ist exercise group. I can do it but I think you need to have some exercises for snior citizens
Also purchased swing power with door adapter which I use extensively . My question is Mike , should I do both the dvd and the swing power or is the swing power sufficient at my age
Stretching the limits
I've been using the stretching exercises for about a month. The main results I wanted, being 60, was to help stop most of the stiffness in my hips. I've found doing the excercises also increase your stamina...I've began walking again, and use the warm up stretches before practicing or playing...As I continue I know it help keep me flexible and give me more years of enjoying golf...Bobby
Old Dog getting younger
I'm doing diet, running, weights, and now added stretching. Still have swing issues to work on, but on connected shots, got a 190 yd 4H that never got over 160. Moved to 2 x 7 daily because I move better with the more I do.
Out driving my group
I must say when I first started your stretching program, I was extremely tight. I'm 66 years old, and I've neglected my body for a long time. I've now been doing it 4 times a week (it's only 7 minutes at a time) for about a month. I play with a group of guys, and I was about middle of the pack. Not anymore! I am the longest hitter, averaging around 260 yards off the tee. I am a believer and will continue for a long time.
Old dog - new (stretching) tricks
I've been putting off stretching for probably 35 years, but taking up golf in the last 2 years is forcing me to reconsider. Actually was looking for something specific to golf swing. I don't know that I'm turning further (may know after winter thaws) but I'm more in balance on the same amount of turn. So consistency will improve and that should help my handicap by at least 8 (was 24 last year). I want to keep at this level from 60's well into my 70's if not 80's.
Going Strong On and Off the Course
Your workout programs are excellent not only for golfing but everyday functional fitness! No back pain from sitting all day at work daily and I've also reduce the amount of ibuprofen I took daily! I'm 51 yrs old and play about 100 rounds of 18 holes of golf walking and carrying a full bag of clubs (very hard habit to break from my Army days!!). I was usually broken down quite a bit by the end of the season, but since utilizing your programs the past couple of years I have managed to finish the golf seasons strong and in pretty good shape. I've incorporated the 3 for 30 day and DVD stretching programs into my cardio and strength training programs this off-season and my joints feel phenominal this off-season! Looking forward to another solid season of golfing! Keep up the good work!
