Pedersen has been a fitness trainer of 24 years,
who studied the golf swing and applied this knowledge
into his best-selling golf
fitness dvds, golf
training manual, the first online golf fitness
memberships site over 6 years ago, and now
his unique, just-released golf
stretching dvd that sold over 800 copies the first
week.
He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Physiology of
Exercise from Oregon State University. Mike's certification
goes back over 24 years. The most recent ten
years have been with golfers.

Illustrated.com. He has produced over 500 articles
on the topice of fitness and golf that have been seen
various publications and sites (including Pub Links
Golfer, Orange County Register, Arizona Golfer,and
Men's Health), journals and newspapers worldwide.
Mike was panel exper for many radio shows specifically
geated to golfers, such as ESPN Radio, Pure Golf
with Peter Kessler, and ,most recently a
consistent spot with his own segment for Tee
Time On The Gulf Coast with host Randy Burgan.
Mr. Pedersen did a podcast that has been downloaded
tens of thousands of times with Golf
Smarter, which is the top podcast company for golf
on the Apple Itunes site.
Competitive Athletics To Golf
Mike's sports background goes back over thirty years,
with a specialty in Track. He earned rankings in the
Pac 10 for the javelin, as well as national rankings
between 1982 through 1987. Mike achieved All Pacific
10 Conference in 1983.
Post graduation from OSU, he took up the decathlon
event where he became nationally ranked for Canada between
1987 through 1989. Mike was top 6 in rankings, and the
top 3 went on to the Olympics.
When he retired from track-and-field Mike started to
play golf. He took on golf as he had done with track.
"I purchased every book, training video, and took
lessons from different teachers specifically to learn
as much as I could, from as many people as I could to
gain a better understanding of the mechanics of the
swing."
Mike golf improvement in less than 2 years was impressive.
He achieved a 6 handicap, and had gotten his driving
distance up to almost 300 yards consistently!)
